Delightfully sweet and smooth, Volluto Decaffeinato has the same rich flavours and round body as the original Volluto Grand Cru. The selected pure Arabica beans from South America are roasted lightly and separately to highlight their specificities and reveal the sweet biscuity, fresh and fruity notes. The aromatic profile of these coffees is carefully preserved during the decaffeination process, which respects the coffee bean’s true nature, allowing us to maintain the strength and richness of its aromas.

Volluto Decaffeinato is a pure blend of decaffeinated Arabicas from Brazil and Colombia with delightful cereal and fruity notes. The aromatic profile of these coffees is carefully preserved during the decaffeination process, which respects the coffee bean’s true nature, allowing us to maintain the strength and richness of its aromas.

ROASTING

The selected pure Arabica beans are roasted separately to highlight their specificities: a shorter roast unfolds the sweet biscuity notes of the Brazilian Arabica, while longer but lighter roast preserves fresh and fruity notes of the Colombian beans.

Ristretto Decaffeinato

POWERFUL AND CONTRASTING

Intensely roasted and rich in flavour, Ristretto Decaffeinato has the same powerful character and contrasting taste as the original Ristretto. A selection of the best Latin American and East African Arabicas is sophisticatedly blended with a touch of Robusta, roasted separately to create the subtle fruity note of this full bodied, intense Espresso.

ORIGIN
Composed of some of the best South American Arabicas from sources such as Colombia and Brazil, Ristretto Decaffeinato also contains the great, lightly acidic East African Arabicas and a touch of Robusta for added zing.
ROASTING
The beans are roasted slowly and separately to obtain an original bouquet bringing together acidic, fruity, and roasted notes. Its finely ground texture creates an Italian-style coffee: intense, with a rich flavor and full body.

ROASTING

Separate roasting of the beans brings out the characters of the different origins and develops the complexity of the flavour: a shorter and lighter roast preserves the subtle flowery bouquet of the Ethiopian beans and the fruity notes of the Colombian, while a darker and longer roast reinforces the character of the blend and develops its bitterness.

Volluto

SWEET AND LIGHT

The light and generous aromas of Brazilian and Colombian Arabicas strike graceful harmony in this approachable espresso. There’s a mellow sweet biscuit and fruity acidity in Volluto that knows how to delight. It’s sunny living.

ORIGIN

The Arabica coffees from Brazil and Colombia that go into this blend have been sustainable coffees for a long time now and they give the gold Nespresso pod its true harmony. The farmers are among the original AAA Program troupe and they meticulously care for their coffee and their environment. A naturally processed Brazilian coffee gives Volluto a balanced profile – the edgy freshness eases off as the harvested and processed crop is left to rest and mellow. They call this local coffee tradition reposoVolluto’s other component coffee is an Arabica from Colombia’s mid-range mountains. It’s washed and sun-dried to bring out the soft fruity flavors of the coffee.

ROASTING

Volluto is medium roasted – not too hot, not too long – and given a medium grind to keep it all in harmony. This roast turns the Brazil’s cereal notes to sweet biscuit and keeps the fruity notes of the Colombia alive. The Volluto coffee pod comes out a rounded and elegantly balanced espresso.

A blend of East African, Central and South American Arabicas which has been lightly roasted to create a delicate and balanced marriage of lightly toasted cereal and fruity notes.

ORIGIN

Arabicas from Costa Rica give this blend its characteristic cereal and lightly toasted notes, while the finest Arabicas from Kenya bring out its delicate fruity notes, both harmonised by Latin American Arabicas.

Roma

FULL AND BALANCED

A subtle balance between strength, finesse and fullness, Roma sets itself apart by its woody and roasted notes. Central and South American Arabicas combined with Robusta have been lightly roasted to preserve the delicate aroma of the blend. Roma is the ideal coffee for those looking for an Espresso that is both short and mild.

ORIGIN

Cultivated at high altitude, the Central American Arabicas bring finesse, whilst the Brazilian Arabicas and Robustas provide body and a lingering taste on the palate.

Light roasting and fine grinding bring finesse to the blend and create a short espresso, which is not too strong.

Ispirazione Firenze Arpeggio Decaffeinato

This exquisite blend is a true reflection of Florence’s cultural significance: an intellectual hub in the heart of Italy, drawing influences from all the country. Ispirazione Firenze Arpeggio Decaffeinato ‘s roasting style brings these influences together by combining fruity notes traditionally found in the North of Italy with cocoa notes from the South, culminating in a velvety, dense and creamy cup. This creation is shared with lovers of pure flavour, even where they prefer a decaffeinated version.

ORIGIN
Ispirazione Firenze Arpeggio Decaffeinato is a blend of decaffeinated Latin American Arabicas centered around an inherently malty Costa Rican coffee. All the other coffees used are also decaffeinated Arabica, and that unified taste is as magnetic as Florence during the Renaissance.

ROASTING
A dark and deep roast of the Brazil and Costa Rica really pushes the intensity of those cocoa notes. We gave the fruitier coffees a lighter roast for balance in this decaf coffee pod. It’s an homage to the complexity of Florence’s roast style. It gives this espresso dolce its gravitas and its class.

AROMATIC PROFILE
Ispirazione Firenze Arpeggio Decaffeinato is as dense and creamy as the no decaffeinated version. Decaffeination doesn’t diminish the bold roasty and cocoa notes. The crema gives it a creamy, velvety texture that is irresistible.

Ispirazione Palermo Kazaar

Palermo inspired our long, dark roasting style plus a high Robusta content: hallmarks of this Southern city. At a crossroads of influence from African and Arab traditions, multicultural Palermo made us dream. The result is an exceptionally intense, syrupy, woody and spicy coffee, crowned with very dark, thick crema.

ORIGIN
Ispirazione Palermo Kazaar ’s daring intensity comes from blending four distinct coffees – it speaks to the multicultural heritage of Palermo. It’s a coastal city sitting on the edge of three continents, with centuries of Arabian, Byzantine and Spanish cultural influence shaping it. We picked four bold coffees to pay homage to this history. Traditionally you’d look only to unwashed Robusta to bring brute strength. And that’s what you’ll find dominating the coffee blends of southern Italy. But our washed Robusta is a rare find that balances out the Ispirazione Palermo Kazaar coffee pod with its clean taste and creamy texture. These Robusta farmers process their coffee with the same care that washed Arabica farmers do. It helps add that elegant touch to the robustness in Ispirazione Palermo Kazaar . The other coffees are Latin American Arabicas that lend a natural sweetness to Ispirazione Palermo Kazaar.

ROASTING
We split roast the coffees to bring out distinct qualities of each coffee in the Ispirazione Palermo Kazaar blend. Most of the Arabica and Robusta get an intense roast to develop their bitterness and body. We give the unwashed Robusta a shorter and lighter roast to bring out some of the finer aromatic notes. Ispirazione Palermo Kazaar ’s roast style reflects the Arab and African influence you see across southern Italy’s dark and intense coffees.

AROMATIC PROFILE
Did you catch the scent of spice drifting across the waters from Africa? You’ll taste the audacious bitterness and peppery notes leaping out through the thick syrupy body. Ispirazione Ristretto Italiano

A drop of deliciousness: the essence of Italy’s iconic drinking tradition. Inspired by the ambassador of all Italian coffees, the ristretto, we chose not to imitate, but to roast our perfect version. Long roasted in part for body, short for brightness and fruit, this coffee is the culmination of all we explored in the emblematic Italian cup.

ORIGIN
Italians say coffee is all about the four Ms of miscela, macinazione, macchina, and mano. Crafting Ispirazione Ristretto Italiano with respect for this Italian classic begins with the blend – the miscela. Ispirazione Ristretto Italiano is a sophisticated recipe of coffees – both Arabica and Robusta – that each lends its distinct personality to create this iconic Italian taste. We crafted it to reflect the elegance and excellence of Italian culture and coffee. On top of a neutral base of Brazilian Arabica comes a dash of Robusta from South India. It adds a kick to Ispirazione Ristretto Italiano. The best of South American and East African Arabicas add a hint of a crisp fruit note to the Ristretto Italiano pod.

ROASTING
Split roasting means you can taste what each coffee brings to the cup. The long-roasted Robusta coffee gives Ispirazione Ristretto Italiano its body, its roastiness, and its cocoa bitterness. Putting the Arabica coffees through a quick roast keeps their bright acidity and fruity notes alive and gives Ispirazione Ristretto Italiano more in the cup. Fortissio Lungo

RICH AND FULL-BODIED

As in the age of sailing ships, West Indian Malabar Arabica beans are exposed to monsoon winds after harvest to reveal a distinguished aromatic profile, rich with cereal notes. We blend these with Latin American Arabica beans to create a lungo with a truly intense character. This full-bodied Lungo, rich in aroma, expresses itself in beautiful sweet cereal and malty toasted notes, and it offers a pleasant bitterness with an exquisite fullness on the palate thanks to its round and smooth texture.

ORIGIN

A fine base of Monsooned Malabar Arabica from Southwest India and washed Colombian Arabicas to bring intensity, texture and richness.

ROASTING

The Indian Monsooned Malabar Arabica and Latin American coffees that form the structural base of Fortissio Lungo are split roasted in order to generate a prominent body yet retain a rich coffee flavour, not overshadowed by roasted notes.

Envivo Lungo

BOLD AND CARAMELISED

Envivo Lungo was specially designed for the morning by Nespresso Coffee Experts. It is a long-cup that stimulates the senses through its high intensity and generous character. This dark roasted coffee is a blend of a distinctive Arabica from India with a Robusta from Mexico. In cup, it reveals a bold character and a full body, roasted notes and rich scents reminiscent of aromatic woods and gingerbread.

ORIGIN

Envivo Lungo is a blend of green coffees from two origins, India and Mexico.

ROASTING

The Arabica and the Robusta parts are roasted separately and dark to deliver high intensity with refined taste and a full body. The Robusta split is roasted longer and darker.

Nicaragua

BLACK HONEY NICARAGUA

High in the foothills of western Nicaragua, our black honey coffee is carefully turned in the sun for weeks to soak up the sweet natural sugars of its fruit.

If Black Honey processing were the easy road to a nectarous coffee, they’d all do it. But only a few farmers dare. It’s a rare process because it calls for meticulous monitoring. Master Origin Nicaragua with ‘Black-Honey’ processed Arabica contains this coffee. It gives this Nicaraguan Arabica its smooth honeyed texture and sweet cereal notes.

ROBUSTA MONSOON

If you’ve never experienced the monsoon winds, our Indian partners have captured every bit of their power and intensity.

Master Origin India with Robusta Monsoon gets its intense, woody, spicy aromatics from the monsooned Robusta blended into Indian Arabica. Monsooning coffees is unique to India’s southwest coast. Months of monsoonal winds repeatedly swell and dry the beans. It mimics the journey it used to take when sailing to Europe.

Ethiopia

DRY PROCESSED ARABICA

The unusually hot climate of western Ethiopia has allowed our partner farmers to perfect the art of dry-processing their coffee.

This is Ethiopian Arabica at its finest – decadently aromatic. It has an orange blossom aroma, but the rich fruit jam notes come from the sun-dried coffee in Master Origin Ethiopia with dry processed Arabica. Continually hand-turning the coffee cherry to ensure even drying calls for great care. And Ethiopian farmers have used this method for longer than anyone else.

A light and short roast keeps the more delicate notes alive and singing through the wilder, heavier aromatics of this Ethiopian coffee.
